Cocaine is the most illicit drug that is used
in Europe as in comparison to weed being the most illicit used drugged in the
United States. The article explains the cardiovascular effects that cocaine has
on males from 15-49. Most of the participants are Caucasians with the exception
of four black people and one Asian.

Cocaine is a powerful indirect sympathomimetic
agent with inhibitory properties and because of this it may increase blood
pressure, heart rate and ventricular contractility. The study concludes that
cocaine is directly related to sdcv. SDCV
was deļ¬ned as sudden death in which the autopsy showed a cardiac or
cerebro-vascular pathology alteration that could explain it. Cardiac arrest is
when the electrical impulses cause an abrupt loss of heart function. the hearts
lower chambers starts to beat in a crazy pattern and the blood does not pump
into the heart..T his is a direct effect of cocaine use. In the study doctors
would examine the body and all the organs looking mainly at the heart.
Different signs of cardio vascular troubles
were found in the autopsy of the participants and were dyed a certain
color in order for distinctions. Results of the study conclude that during the period covered by the study, 4812 deaths were investigated, 63 percent of the deaths were in direct causation of cocaine use.
