Withdrawal Effects Solved?

    Cocaine’s euphoric effects are almost instantaneous. However, when cocaine use has stopped, the user wants more.  Other withdrawal symptom include anxiety, sleeplessness, irritability as well as suspicion and paranoia.  What if there was a way to reduce all of these withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings for the drug? New research has found a new drug that can help men who are cocaine users gradually stop using the drug.
   
   The drug is called Baclofen and it is used to help patients struggling with spinal cord injuries and neurological issues. This drug responds to and interferes with brains reaction to drugs and can stop or delay the signals that can lead to cravings and eventually using the drug again. Research has shown that Baclofen delays or stops the signals that respond to cocaine.
  

    Research has been showing that this new finding can help people with drug addiction, specifically to cocaine, and their process of quitting. Although there are other factors that are relative to substance abuse and addictions the new research can truly potentially help people. However, drugs like Baclofen can raise question and debate.   Although this drug can help people recover from substance abuse, people may question whether it is right to treat drug abuse with more drugs.
     The National Institute on Drug Abuse has found that the drug Baclofen can potentially help drug users to stop using drugs including heavier drugs like cocaine. The drugs delays and reduces the responses to the substances causing the user to withstand withdrawal effects and kick the habit all together.
